First Aid at Work
The First Aid at Work (FAW) Course is a modularised, competency-based system in line with Health and Safety Executive requirements and the company ethos.
We all learn in different ways, therefore as trainers we utilise many different strategies to help candidates develop into effective practitioners. From providing a mock first aid base with casualty simulation equipment, to supplying candidates with the most up-to-date and comprehensive First Aid Manual written by experienced Paramedic Instructor Nigel Barraclough Pa CertEd.
On successful completion of the course and final assessment, candidates will be awarded a First Aid at Work certificate approved for the purposes of the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981. Candidates receive both A4 size and credit card size certificates valid for 3 years.
Fees from 150 GBP per candidate excl VAT (Dependent on group numbers and location)
The 2-day Refresher course is for candidates who are currently qualified in First Aid at Work and their certificate has not yet expired. It allows the candidate to re-qualify as a First Aider.
The course gives a full revision and update of all required techniques.
